An own goal from West Ham gave Man United a narrow 1-0 win as the Red Devils moved back to second on the League table, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was an evenly contested first half encounter that didn’t provide any goals from the two teams.
West Ham was solid in the game as they also had some clear caught opportunities which they couldn’t capitalize on as the encounter progressed.
Man United pressed and dominated as more of the ball possession went in their favor which they failed to make anything out of it.
The first half of the encounter ended with Man United 0-0 West Ham as they both headed for the break without anything to talk about.
Second Half Report
The second half of the encounter was different from the first 45 minutes as we witnessed some goals scored in the game.
West Ham conceded an own goal in the 53rd minute which came off Craig Dawson after an effort to defend which proved difficult and hit him while going inside the back of the net to make it 1-0.
Man United continued to hold on to their lead as the game progressed into the last few minutes which wasn’t too good for the home side who were pressured so much.
The game went on with more opportunities coming to both sides with the Hammers creating more of them which couldn’t bring anything good.
The match ended with Man United 1-0 West Ham as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side claimed a crucial win which moves them back to the second position on the League table.
