Karim Benzema scored twice as Marco Asensio hit the target in a game that saw Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo 3-1 to move 2nd on the League table, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was an interesting first half encounter between the two sides who were able to find the back of the net.
Real Madrid opened the scoring thanks to Karim Benzema 20th minute goal which came after a fine assist from Toni Kroos which the Frenchman finished off smoothly to make it 1-0.
The game progressed with both Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos teaming up again to get the second goal in the 30th minute which made it 2-0 against Celta Vigo.
Santi Mina was able to pull one goal back for his side in the 40th minute to make it 2-1 as the game entered into the last few minutes while the away side dominated.
The first half of the encounter ended with Celta Vigo 1-2 Real Madrid as they both headed for the break with Los Blancos on the lead.
Second Half Report
It wasn’t that good of a second half from both sides but they were a goal that came for the away side who dominated the encounter.
Celta Vigo was the better side when it came to creating chances in the earlier stages of the second 45 minutes which they pressed their opponent but couldn’t get a goal.
The game went on without anything while Real Madrid was doing everything possible to defender their lead as they pushed for a goal that failed to happen for them.
Marco Asensio late brilliant finish was enough as the game ended with Celta Vigo 1-3 Real Madrid as Los Blancos claimed a crucial three points to move second on the league table.
