It has been confirmed that the 2021/22 Premier League season will get up and running on August 14.

Martin Odegaard is expected to return back to Real Madrid despite impressing and playing regular football at Arsenal on loan, MySportDab reports.

The Norway Captain has been heavily praised since he joined Arsenal his his brilliant performances across all competitions.

Arsenal fans were delighted with his performance in the 3-3 West Ham draw recently.

However, According to Spanish Newspaper Marca, Real Madrid are not even considering the idea of selling Odegaard to Arsenal on a permanent deal.

This is not good for Arsenal fans, who were hoping the club cloud sign Odegaard on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Real Madrid believe the No 10 is still a key part of their team in the future, despite his lack of playing time at the club.

MySportDab understands that Odegaard is determined to succeed and become a first team player at Madrid.

However, Odegaard wants to be more assured about the managerial situation at Real Madrid.

Coach Zinedine Zidane’s future at the club remains unclear for now.

The 22-year-old has struggled to make Zidane play him more frequently in Spain, which is why he has gone out on loans regularly over the years.

Odegaard wants assurance from the Madrid manager, and if he will play a role in the team moving forward.

But, Odegaard is now very happy at Arsenal after playing regular football, and wants to end the Premier League season on a high note.

Despite a poor start to the season, Arsenal still have hopes of winning the Europa League, which is their only route into the Champions League.

Arsenal face Slavia Prague in the Europa League quarter-finals, and could play against Premier League rivals Manchester United in the semi-final
